Case study is a process or record of research into the development of a particular person, group, or situation over a period of time.

Characteristics of case study:

1.The number of unit to be studied is small.

2.It studies a social unit deeply and thoroughly.

3.It is qualitative as well as quantitative.

4.It covers sufficient wide cycle of time.

5.It has continuity in nature.

Objective -

Case study objective is to do intensive research on a specific case, such as individual, group, institute, or community. Case study makes it possible to identify essential factors, processes, and relationships

Conclusion - 

Basically, we do case study to find a solution of a difficult problem. In which we use our critical thinking, find evidence or proof, do observation etc.
